Sowing The Seed Of Agape

FOUNDATION STATEMENT: God poured Himself out into the hearts of believers by pouring His love out into the hearts of believers. He’s in you for you, but more importantly He’s in you for other people. When you begin to walk in love and release agape towards people, you will see agape Himself manifest back to you good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over-1 Peter 3:8-12

I. Love is constantly seeking the prosperity of others

A. Love never fails, falls short, or lacks (1 Corinthians 13:8)

1. Love is constantly releasing itself & sowing itself consequently, it is always harvesting

2. Love isn’t selfish

B. In a time of need you need to sow the seed agape (Matthew 6:24-34)

1. When you’re need you don’t need to think about preserving self, you need think about releasing the seed of agape towards someone else

a. How is you thinking about you going to add one cubit to you stature? You need to be thinking about this commandment & how you can love God & love people

2. Selfish is the cause of all lack because when you stop sowing, you stop harvesting.

a. EX: The dumb farmer who refuses to sow any more seed

b. Through selfishness he’s got many people to sow towards their own lack.

c. That’s why the world’s system always fails because it’s centered on selfishness always fails, but the center of God’s system is love and love will never fail

3. Just seek first the Kingdom of Love/Love’s way of doing things

a. When God was in need He sowed an agape seed (John 3:16)

b. Get your focus on God and on that commandment of love

4. We got to get to a place where we never have self on our mind and we always have this commandment on our mind

a. You can’t live a live where you’re constantly sowing agape seeds towards the prosperity of others and not be blessed beyond measure

b. We overcome the failures that selfishness produces by sowing the seed of Agape

II. God ministered the seed of agape to the sower (2 Corinthians 10:9)

A. We as believers are God’s way into the Earth

1. For God to work on this Earth He is going to have to do it through physical bodies

2. It was the Father dwelling in Jesus doing the works (John 14:10)

a. Jesus simply just gave the Father a way into the Earth so that the Father could work through a man on the Earth

3. We can do the works that Jesus did because He is going to the Father: (John 16:7)

a. I’m send him to you or I’ll minister seed to the sower

B. God is love. You can’t separate the two. (1 John 4:8, 16)

1. God poured all himself into you (Romans 5:5)

a. Acts 2:4, Acts 1:8– We’ve didn’t get a little of God

b. We have the potential to release all of Him into the Earth

2. God is love – He is the agape love of God that has no limits and no conditions, that is exceedingly patient, full of mercy and grace, He is not human love, He is agape love – and to release God out of you, you have to release agape out of you

a. If you get selfish & stop loving w/ God’s love, God has no way into the Earth

1) Where there is no release of agape, there is no release of God

2) When you trap agape and love with the human love, you trap God

C. Love is God’s open door into the Earth & when you close the door on agape, you close the door on God

1. We are to yield our bodies to God so that He can flow through those bodies and work here on the Earth (1 Cor 6:13 Rom 6:12-13,12:1)

a. He (God/Agape) did his work through the literal Body of Christ and now he is wanting to do his work on the Earth the same way

2. God has a strong desire to work through His children to reach the lost & dying world.

a. He poured Himself out into the hearts of believers so that He could have access to the world through the Body

b. God’s desiring for you to stay in love and out of selfishness so that you will be his way into the world to meet the needs of hurting humanity

1) When you shut love off and get selfish you are no longer of use to him until you get back in the love of God

III. God wants to get released out of you in agape onto someone else & agape Himself can come back to you good measure, pressed down, shaken together, & running over-Lk 6:38

A. God put Himself, His Love in you for you, but more importantly for someone else

1. He ministered the seed of agape 2 the sower w/ a command 2 the sower to release

a. God gave you agape in seed form

b. God commanded us in every situation to release agape towards people

1) Romans 12:19-21, Luke 6:27-37 – Put agape in all of those places

B. When you release agape towards other people, agape Himself will come back to you in full manifestation (Galatians 6:8, Luke 6:38)

1. The return is wrapped up in the release; your harvest is wrapped up in your seed

2. It becomes very dangerous then to love with human-love and never release agape b/c you are setting yourself up for no return/manifestation/harvest of agape

C. Your power to get wealth is wrapped up in your ability to sow wealth; if you can’t sow it, you can’t harvest it (Deuteronomy 8:18)

1. Blessed to be a blessing (Genesis 12:2)

a. I’m going to bless you so that you’ll have the ability to cause others to prosper and you can live off of the harvest of the seed

b. God put His love in us so that we could use that love on other people and then that Love would harvest back to us in multiplied form

2. The extent that you receive will never go beyond your willingness to sow (Galatians 6:7-8, Luke 6:38)

a. If you don’t have it to sow, you won’t see the harvest

b. Only what you release can come back to you

1) To harvest agape, you’re going to have to sow agape

c. Are you going to let the person who gets on your nerves keep u from your harvest

D. What’s the harvest on the seed of agape? Simply it’s days of Heaven on the Earth

1. 1 John 4:8,16 – God is Love – Manifestations of God

2. John 1:1 – God is the Word – Manifestations of the Word

3. John 1:1-5, 1 John 1:5–God is Light/Life–Manifestations of power that removes all evil

4. 1 Peter 3:8-12 (AMP)

a. Your responds is always agape b/c you’ve been called or commanded to do it.

b. Why have I been commanded to do it? – So that u can inherit a blessing; An empowerment called zoe & so that u don’t have 2 have hell on the Earth

c. Turn away from evil and pursue peace

1) If you don’t want to harvest evil, you better not sow it

E. Jesus never lacked one day on the Earth; He lived in the Earth filled with the curse, but never once harvested the curse b/c he only sowed the seed of agape/blessing

IV. We’ve kept that unconditional God-kind of love imprisoned in our hearts, by loving with this human conditional kind of love and consequently we are rarely harvesting agape

A. We can’t keep the love of God bound in our hearts & expect to see manifestations of Him our lives; Only the seed of Agape will harvest manifestations of God

B. When we love with the God kind of love and release agape from our hearts we give God the opportunity to work in us and through us to change our lives and the lives of people around us.

1. That’s why we are commanded to love people with the God kind of love because it keeps us a an available vessel through which God can flow through to meet the needs of humanity and we just live off of the harvest

C. There’s been a famine of Agape; Be an agape sower
