FOUNDATION STATEMENT: When the law of love is released in the life of a believer abundance will always be the result – Matthew 22:36
I. The commandment of love is the law of abundance that will manifest Heaven on the Earth
A. A law is something that will produce the same results every time all the time no matter what as long as the principles of that law are applied
1. A law is something that has a predictable outcome
a. If a person abides by certain principles there is a predetermined outcome
b. It’s been determined before you ever walk in love that when you do abundance will be the result
2. You’re not going to apply the principles of a law and get inconsistent results
a. EXAMPLE: Gravity – you’re not going to jump off of a building and float one time and fall the other
3. The only prerequisite for a law to work is that the principles must be applied
a. The Law of Lift – Thrust over drag = lift
B. The 6 principles that release the law of love
1. Guard you heart (Proverbs 4:20)
a. Word are seeds, the ground is your heart (Mark 4:14)
b. Whatever deposit of word seeds you make in your heart will be brought forth in manifestation and be your life (Matthew 12:35)
c. Your life is coming out of your heart (Proverbs 4:23)
d. I’m going to specifically love God with all of my heart where this ministry is concerned, so I’m going to sow the Word of God in my heart, concerning this ministry. I’m going to guard my heart from word seeds that come in opposition to the prosperity and success of this ministry.
2. Cast down imaginations (2 Corinthians 10:5)
a. Proverbs 23:7 – Your life is going in the direction of your thinking, but your thinking is going in the direction of the words that you’re allowing to build your thought patterns
b. Romans 12:1 – Transformation and conformation happen in your thinking. If you think wrong, you’ll be wrong.
c. Philippians 4:8 – Fix your mind on the Word – That’s how you think
d. I’m going to specifically love God with all of my mind where this ministry is concerned. I’m going to think on good things about his ministry and any thought that opposes the prosperity of this ministry I’m going to cast it down.
3. Minister love to the Father with every decision you make (John 8:29)
a. Matthew 26:39 – Not as I will, but as you
b. Joshua 1:8 – You make your way prosperous by choosing the prosperous way
c. Your decisions will determine your destination
d. I’m going to specifically love God with all of my decisions where this ministry is concerned. I’m going to be obedient and do exactly what God tells me do. I’m going to love God with every word that I choose to speak over this ministry. I’m going to whatever God tells me to do whether my flesh likes it or not.
4. Don’t allow your emotions to have you, you have them (Ephesians 4:26)
a. Don’t allow the emotion of anger move you out of love
b. Mark 10:22 – The rich young ruler allowed the emotion of sadness to move him away from the law of love
c. I’m going to specifically love God with all my emotions where this ministry is concerned. I have them and give them to God not them have me.
5. Make all of your time, money, resources available to God
a. Luke 14:26 – Forsaking all is loving God with all of your strength
b. I’m going to specifically love God with all of the finances and resources of this ministry. I’m going to love God with all of my time and money where this ministry is concerned.
6. Love your neighbor the way God loves you (John 13:34)
a. I’m going to love my neighbor the way God loves me. I’m on Guard and quick to repent.
C. When you’ve applied those 6 principles, you’ve just released a law that will produce abundance
1. The law of love will do the work and produce abundance your job is to release the law
2. To get outside of one of those principles is to deactivate the law of love, and stop abundance from manifesting in your life
3. “Well, I walk in love the best I can” isn’t going to get it done anymore. We’ve got to be totally committed to this in every area of our lives.
a. Release love specifically in the areas that it needs to be released in your life
D. If abundance is what you desire then you got to release the law that’s going to produce it and that law is the law of love (Deuteronomy 11:13)
1. 13-Hear, listen, obey, and proclaim diligently the command of love
2. 16-Pay attention to yourself so that you don’t get to a place where you’re completely ignoring this commandment
3. 17-You’ve been given abundance, but when you’re being kept from it because you want release the necessary law to receive
a. Mark 11:24 – To receive you believe you receive when you pray – Believing which is faith, works by love
4. 18-Lay up, put, set up, put in, mark well these words of this commandment in your heart and in your mind
a. Put this love commandment in your heart so that’s the only thing that comes out
b. Put this love commandment on the forefront of your thinking
5. 23-When you walk in love zoe, light, love, the Word will show up and begin to drive your enemies out and you’ll possess what God has provided
a. Sickness will be driven out, healing will be possessed
6. 25-The spirit of the curse that has taken and stand in your life, won’t be able to stand it’s ground when the law of love is released
a. Your fear is gone because you’re perfecting love and now fear is upon your enemies
7. 26-28-The curse is as conditional as the blessing – If you don’t obey you get “0” blessing, if you don’t disobey you get “0” curse
a. John 17:15, 1 John 5:18, Psalm 91, Isaiah 5:14-17
b. Proverbs 10:22 – The blessing of the Lord will produce Days of Heaven on the Earth and add no struggle with it
8. 28-If the curse is what you got, you chose it
II. When you get in disobedience to the commandment of love there is a resistance to the abundant life that comes out of you
A. Violation of the Commandment of Love in your life puts you out of line with the law of abundance and resists it (Mark 10:17)
1. There’s abundance tied to the law of love and if you refuse that law, you resist the abundance that’s tied to it
2. You can’t resist thrust or drag and see lift in your life
3. The rich young ruler got in disobedience to the commandment of love and resisted the very thing that he fell on his knees telling Jesus he wanted so badly
a. HE WENT AWAY – He was in resistance to the thing that he was on his knees begging for, because he was in resistance to the law that would produce it
1) What was tied to this law in verse 21 was verse 29 and 30
2) When he went away from the law that would produce abundance, he went away from the abundance
b. How many believers are out there resisting the very thing that they are on the knees praying to God for by opposing the law that will produce it?
B. When you resist the commandment of love, you resist healing and receive sickness, resist prosperity and receive poverty, resist victory and receive defeat (James 3:16, John 12:50)
1. The law of love activates and releases the zoe in your life that produces healing, prosperity, and victory and when you rejected love you rejected and resisted all of these things
a. Healing is love dependent, Prosperity is love dependent
b. In General the Body of Christ has resisted the love and then wondered why they can’t get healed, prosper, or be victorious
c. All manifestations of God’s Word are the result of His power/zoe working and that zoe working is the result of somebody releasing the law of love. Therefore all manifestations are tied to the command of love and w/o love there is no manifestation.
d. When you get over into a place where you are violating the commandment of love, you are over into a place where you are receiving the curse
1) James 4:7 – When you resisted light you received dark
2) When you chose strife you chose and received the Curse
e. When you resist that commandment of love and get over into an area of unrepented sin, that death force is working
1) When the rich young ruler chose his money over the law of love, he chose death.
C. If God is love and he is (1 John 4:8,16), and if we are born of love and we are (1 John 5:1), and if we sprung off of God and we did (Acts 17:29), then our recreated spirit is love. So to walk in violation to the commandment of love and oppose it is to oppose yourself and sow towards your own destruction (2 Timothy 2:25)
1. 26-Recover themselves – You recover yourselves by choosing love and faith
a. Philippians 2:12-13 – Work out your own salvation
1) God’s done his part just do yours
2) You don’t need God to do anything, He’s done it; you need to get out of strife and into love where the rescue and deliverance is
3) 1 Jn 5:18, 4:18, Is 54:14 – You get your hands off of me
b. God can’t do anything else for the sinner – Salvation has already been provided
1) God can’t do anything else for the sick – Healing has already been provided
2. 26-Taken alive – Satan has taken a lot of believers alive because it strengthens his witness
a. 26-Taken alive by him AT HIS WILL – His will is sickness, poverty, depression, fear, defeat and death
b. Alive and sick, alive and broke, alive and depressed
D. Choosing the zoe abundant life by choosing the law of love that produces it (Deuteronomy 30:19)
1. When you chose to get involved in the principles of the law of love and release that law in your life, you just chose abundance.
2. Get in the love flow
III. The purpose for the commandment of love is not to keep you from having fun, but is to keep you from activating that death force and experiencing hell on the Earth
A. Religion has given us the idea that God gives us commandments to usurp authority over us and let us know who’s in charge
1. Love commanded this; Compassion Himself commanded this
a. My Father who is love commanded this
b. This commandment is not about Him, it’s about us
c. There’s no loss of good associated with keeping this commandment of love (Deuteronomy 28:1-2, 15, 1 John 5:3)
B. His commandments are love letters from Heaven
1. God is the creator of life who knows how to get the most out of life
a. EXAMPLE: The manufacture of a product always prints up a manual instructing the buyer to do things so that the buyer can get the most out of that product.
1) The manual was not created to benefit the manufacturer
2. It wasn’t the Lord cursing the children of Israel because they didn’t do what He said; it was the children of Israel walking outside of that boundary of obedience where the curse was and of course it came on them (Deuteronomy 30:19 – It was their choice)
a. God will protect your decision to go to hell
C. The whole idea of the commandment of love is to keep zoe manifesting in your life so that you don’t have to live in darkness and in bondage to the curse – God’s commanding you to walk back into the garden
1. This commandment is literally in way is the same thing He said to Adam in Genesis 1 – He’s commanding you to walk love, be fruitful, multiply increase and flourish
2. We have the purpose now of this commandment ; It’s not so that God can be loved by you or so that God can have love robots; it’s so that you won’t turn that death force on and have to live in hell
IV. Love is going to take every spiritual force that God’s given you and cause it to operate on the highest level (Matthew 22:36-40, 1Corinthians 13:11)
A. Love elevates faith (1 John 5:4, Mark 11:23)
B. Love elevates peace (Philippians 4:8, 1 Peter 5:6-8)
C. Love elevates joy (Nehemiah 8:10, John 16:22, 1 Peter 1:8)
D. Love elevates the anointing (Isaiah 10:27)
E. Love elevates the blessing (Proverbs 10:22)
F. The love is activator – It’s working in me right now
1. Do this it’s going to take faith to a place that it moves mountains. It’s going to take joy to a place that it’s unspeakable and full of glory. It’s going to take peace to a place where it passes all understanding. It’s going to take the anointing to a place that it removes burdens and destroys yokes. It’s going to take the blessing to a place that it makes you rich. Daddy loves you. I’m going to give you my love so that you can do this. Now if you get to a place where you disobey me in this, don’t run from me, run to me, tell me about it, repent of it, and stay right here in what I’ve told you do. I got something good for you.
